This is what you can create strong content with now.

There are currently two clear entry points. The Moluccan 75 Years Edition is open for community content. Suriname / Chapter 001 is our first Creator Rewards pilot with published reward rules. We explain the meaning of 75 as background context. You do not need to build your content around it. The main goal is simple: make the jersey look strong and create something that earns attention.

Moluccan / 75 Years Edition

Black and white are two colourways of the same special edition. The 75 marks 75 years since the first generation of Moluccans arrived in the Netherlands in 1951 — a story that continues across generations in 2026.

Make the jersey visually worth looking at. Think: a strong fit check, night shoot, street-style sequence, football moment, DJ or studio setting, car or motorcycle setting, movement shot or clean portrait. Pay attention to light, styling, location, camera angle and the first 1–2 seconds. The goal is to make someone stop scrolling.

On the Suriname Jersey, 75 points to 1975 — the year Suriname became independent. The same number carries a different history.

The 1975 context is there, but you do not need to explain it. Make something visually strong: fashion editorial, nightlife, football, city movement, dance, car culture, studio portrait, close-ups or a short cinematic Reel. Choose one clear look and make the jersey the hero of the frame.

75 has a different meaning on each jersey.

That is background information, not a creative assignment. Moluccan refers to 75 years since 1951; Suriname refers to 1975. Use that context if it strengthens your idea, but your content can also focus purely on styling, atmosphere, energy and attention.

Make something you would stop for yourself.

Choose one visual idea and execute it well. For example: a fast fit-change Reel, a night shoot with hard light, a football tunnel walk, a clean portrait series or a 10–15 second cinematic clip. The first 1–2 seconds should show something immediately.

02 / SHARE

Publish it where people can actually see it.

Post the content publicly on Instagram, TikTok or another relevant channel. Choose a strong cover, make sure the jersey is recognisable and keep the post live during the applicable Chapter window.

03 / REWARD

Then submit the link and results.

Use the form to send your profile, content link and optional reach. If you qualify for a Reach Reward, we may request native analytics. Sales Rewards use an active personal creator link or code.

What makes strong MATAGI content?

Win the first second

Do not start with explanation. Start with image. A strong outfit, movement, close-up, location or unexpected shot should immediately signal that there is something worth watching.

Make the jersey look good

Pay attention to fit, silhouette, front and back details, sleeves and numbering. Choose styling and light that strengthen the design instead of hiding it.

Choose one clear atmosphere

Nightlife, clean studio, football, street, car culture, family, festival or cinematic. One clear world usually works better than five ideas inside one video.

Make something people react to

A strong post makes people stop, rewatch, share, save, comment or click through. For rewards, those results also need to be verifiable through platform data or a creator link.

HOW WE'RE BUILDING THIS

Three ways your work can be rewarded.

Chapter 001 / Suriname tests three separate reward types: Creative, Reach and Sales. They are assessed separately and can apply together. One strong post can therefore create value in more than one way.

Creative reward

For exceptional concept, execution or storytelling. There is no fixed view threshold. MATAGI selects the work and discusses the value directly with the creator.

Reach reward

For verified organic views on one eligible post within the Chapter. Your highest eligible milestone sets the Reach Reward; views from separate posts are not added together.

Sales reward

For attributed net product sales through an active personal creator link or code. In Chapter 001 this is 10% after returns and cancellations, under the published terms.

Strong work can lead to a next brief.

Examples include product seeding, early access, a paid brief, event content or a campaign shoot. None of that is automatic from one post; each next collaboration is agreed separately.

CHAPTER 001 / SURINAME

Suriname, through your eyes.

For Chapter 001, you create with the MATAGI Suriname Jersey. You do not need to explain the meaning of 1975. Make content that presents the jersey strongly, earns attention and fits your style. Publish the work and then submit your link; Reach and Sales are measured separately under the Chapter rules.

This is our first test of the system. The published rewards and rules of Chapter 001 apply to participation in this Chapter. We may close the Chapter to new entries when the available pilot capacity is reached. Existing accepted entries keep the published Chapter 001 terms.

WHAT REWARD VALUE MEANS

The value is fixed. The format is flexible.

Reach 100K verified organic views and you earn €200 Reward Value. We then agree on the format that works best: MATAGI product or store credit, cash, or a combination. The value stays fixed; the mix can change.

Product and store credit are valued at retail value. A cash equivalent can be lower. The available options are made clear before you choose. Once a Reach Reward is verified, its Reward Value does not change afterwards.

HOW WE VERIFY REACH

Real attention is what counts.

Views can be manipulated and views do not automatically mean sales. Before a Reach Reward is confirmed, we check whether the performance is credible and organic.

01Native analytics

We can ask for screenshots or screen recordings from the platform's own analytics to confirm the performance.

02Organic source

Paid boosting, purchased views, bots, engagement pods and other artificially inflated reach do not qualify unless a brief explicitly says otherwise.

03The pattern behind it

Where available, we can look at traffic source, watch time or completion, shares, saves, comments and audience patterns — not only the headline view count.

04Human review

Every Reach Reward is verified. From 100K upward we apply an additional manual review before the reward is confirmed.

Unusual or inconsistent patterns can require additional verification. If performance cannot reasonably be verified as eligible organic reach, the Reach Reward is not confirmed.

Creative Reward

Exceptional ideas, execution or storytelling can receive an additional Creative Reward. We discuss the value directly with the creator.

02 / REACH

Reach Reward

10K starts the ladder. Your highest-performing eligible individual post determines the Reach Reward tier for this Chapter.

03 / SELL

10% Sales Reward

When a personal creator link or code is active, the creator earns 10% of attributed net product sales after returns and cancellations.

04 / GROW

Build the relationship

If the system works well for both sides, creators who repeatedly create real value can be invited into early access, product seeding, paid briefs, events or deeper collaborations.

One piece of content can create value three ways.

01Creative Reward

MATAGI selects the work itself as exceptional. This is an additional reward agreed with you.

+100K views = €200

The same eligible piece reaches 100K organic views and qualifies for the €200 Reward Value tier.

+10% Sales Reward

Your active creator link or code generates eligible orders, so sales commission is added separately.

Creative, Reach and Sales Rewards are calculated separately. Qualify for all three, and you can earn all three in the same Chapter.

FAQ / CREATOR REWARDS

Clear before you create.

This is also new for MATAGI. We want the rules to be understandable before you put time into the work. Chapter 001 / Suriname is our first pilot, and the published terms for that Chapter are the terms we use to assess it.

Do I need a minimum number of followers?

No. Follower count does not determine whether your work has value. We look at the idea, execution, genuine response, verified reach and attributable sales.

What is the current Jersey Chapter?

The first Creator Rewards pilot is Chapter 001 / Suriname, built around the MATAGI Suriname Jersey. We are using this first Chapter to learn what is clear, fair and sustainable before we roll the framework out to future jersey releases.

Can I publish more than one piece of content?

Yes. Make as much strong work as makes sense for you. For Reach Reward, however, we use your best-performing eligible individual post. Views from separate posts are not added together.

Which views count toward Reach Reward, and how do you verify them?

Eligible organic views on public content within the Chapter window. Views unlock a milestone; verification confirms the reward. We can request native platform analytics and, where available, review traffic source, watch time or completion, shares, saves, comments and audience patterns. Paid boosting, purchased views, bots, engagement pods and other artificially inflated reach do not qualify unless the Chapter brief explicitly states otherwise. From 100K upward we perform an additional manual review.

Can I earn Creative, Reach and Sales Rewards at the same time?

Yes. They are separate rewards and one does not replace another. Example: MATAGI selects your video for a Creative Reward. That same video reaches 100K eligible organic views, which gives €200 Reward Value. If your personal link or code also generates eligible sales, you earn the 10% Sales Reward on top. If you qualify for all three, you receive all three.

What exactly is Reward Value?

Reward Value is the published value attached to a milestone. After verification we discuss the reward format with you: MATAGI product or store credit, cash, or a combination. Cash equivalents can differ from retail-value credit, and the available options are made clear before you choose.

How does the Sales Reward work?

For Chapter 001, an activated personal creator link or code earns 10% of attributed net product sales. Returns, cancellations, refunded orders, shipping and taxes are excluded from the commission basis.

Do I need to buy the jersey myself?

Open Track is for people who already own or choose to buy the jersey. MATAGI may also invite selected creators and provide product directly. Receiving product never guarantees a performance reward.

Can MATAGI use my content?

If you give permission in the submission form, MATAGI may organically repost the submitted post with creator credit. Broader paid advertising, whitelisting or other commercial usage is agreed separately.

What if children appear in the content?

The submitting creator must have the necessary permission from a parent or legal guardian for any minor shown in submitted content. We can request confirmation before using or rewarding the work.

When is a reward verified and paid?

We verify the applicable milestone and analytics first. Sales Rewards are confirmed after the relevant return and cancellation period. We then confirm the reward format and practical payout or credit details with you.

I created for MATAGI before Creator Rewards existed. What happens to that work?

Send it to us. We are keeping track of the people who helped MATAGI early and want to create ways to give value back as the brand grows. Earlier work does not automatically create a retroactive reward, but it matters to us and can become part of the creator relationship we build from here.

One post can simply remain one post. If your work stands out and the collaboration works well, more can follow: another product, product seeding, a paid brief, event content or a larger campaign. The quality and impact of the work determine the next step.
